We are thrilled to introduce the exciting opportunity for a Full-Time Permanent Security Administrator to be based on site at a prestigious Government building located in Central London.

The salary is £30,000 with an uplift of £3,000 paid in monthly increments after the relevant criteria has been met.

HOURS OF WORK:  Monday to Friday, 37.5 Hours per week offering 1 day per week working from home.

We are seeking a motivated and professional individual to play a vital role in maintaining the security and integrity of our organisation.

The right candidate will have the chance to work within a small team offering the highest standard of security which you will be responsible for upholding contract wide.

 

What you will do:

  • Act as a key point of contact for employees, contractors and subcontractors on clearance, pass and access matters, providing advice, resolving issues and supporting security compliance through regular meetings and ongoing engagement.
  • Ensure employee and contractor compliance with security policies, procedures and clearance requirements.
  • Deliver on-site security inductions and security awareness presentations.
  • Process applications, transfers, amendments and cancellations, as well as conducting identity verification checks and review supporting documentation.
  • Act as the primary contact for security-related enquiries, liaising with sponsors and relevant stakeholders.
  • Manage building pass and secure access applications as well as liaising with client teams to coordinate approvals and maintain compliance with security requirements.
  • Provide support to the onsite Pass Office as required, assisting with pass administration, customer enquiries and access-related processes to ensure continuity of service.
  • Manage and monitor security clearances and expiry dates, ensuring continuous compliance, timely renewals and uninterrupted access for employees.
  • Maintain and update security systems and associated records, databases and security tracking spreadsheets.
  • Verify completion of end-of-day security checks, key musters and mandatory inductions.
  • Act as the first point of contact for travel policy queries and associated documentation
  • Participate in operational and security meetings, providing updates and completing agreed action; take minutes and maintain action logs for meetings including HR hearings and meetings as required.
  • Organise and monitor training for all on-site staff, ensuring training records, certificates and compliance documentation are maintained within their relevant folders and spreadsheet.
  • Provide flexible business support by undertaking projects, administrative tasks and other duties as required to meet evolving business and operational needs
  • Assist with the organisation and support of internal events.
  • Handle any other business-related tasks that the manager deems necessary.

The successful candidate needs to be able to obtain Developed Vetting. To obtain the relevant clearance you will require a minimum of 5 years permanent UK residency status, 10 years permanent UK residency is preferred, and an element of UK Nationality is essential.
